Including content in the buddypress activity stream | WordPress.org

Hi there,
I’d like to make a couple of changes to how the events appear in the activity stream:
- include the content of the event in buddypress activity stream.
- make the time stamp link to the post rather than the activity item
I can see it pulls from bp-em-activity.php, but I’m not sure what I would need to change.

Can anyone help me with this?

you can do that by modifying php file at events-manager/buddypress/bp-em-activity.php

I know that it’s that file, but I can’t work out what to change, can you help me with some pointers?

If you’re not comfortable with development, you’ll need to seek the assistance of a developer for this really.

For anyone looking for a more helpful response to this. I ended up using a filter for a few different post types at once and am not using the bp-em-activity.php for it anymore.
