I have these alerts under System Status:

40 MB – We recommend setting memory to at least 64MB. See: Increasing memory allocated to PHP
Your server does not have the SOAP Client class enabled – some gateway plugins which use SOAP may not work as expected.

I don’t know about the second one, but if you have shell access I’m sure you could fix the first one by going into the php.ini settings. If that doesn’t work out, you can always ask your hosting tech support to fix those two settings.

    Try switching to 2012 theme.

That worked. So it’s my theme? How do I figure out what the issue is?

When I switch back to my theme it says this:

Your theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files – if you encounter functionality issues on the frontend this could the reason. Ensure you update or remove them (in general we recommend only bundling the template files you actually need to customize). See the system report for full details.

    Where are these files located?

Unfortunately these are questions you need to ask your theme author. They need to make their theme 2.1 compatible.

How do I revert wc back to the previous version?

DONT TRY TO GO BACK TO PREVIOUS VERSIONS!

    – we tried this and our whole site crashed as their are other plugins which have been updated in order to work with the 2.1 update

once you delete and re-install a previous version all of the other plugins that have been updated won’t work!!

For anyone having this same issue, I downloaded version 2.0.20 at http://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/developers/ and it works now. I had to delete the new version and reinstall the old version then redo all of my settings.

For me, the cart button and the gallery are broken even with 2012 and 2013 WP themes- so is this still a theme problem? I also keep having to flush my permalinks, and have other strange issues.

Can anyone from Woocommerce help, or do we need to revert?

Thank you in advance for any advice-

I’m having same problems as above as well since update to Woocommerce 2.1.1 how do I resolved this?

If you are not familiar with how the WooCommerce template files work or how you should update them, please contact the developer of your theme and request them to update the templates files to be compatible with WooCommerce 2.1.x.

This is not an easy thing to explain and is completely different for all themes. We have no way of supporting all the third party themes, so unfortunately can’t help out much with this other than giving a couple pointers as we do in that message.

Step how to go back to previous Woocommerce for those who are not ready to make update with the new Woocommerce:

    1. Make sure you have a backup of your previous woocommerce plugin which you downloaded as backup using FTP or from your Cpanel. If you have the backup, you are ready to go. If not then I suggest to use sweetmoses method as he prescribe above. Never try that before, so I don’t know the end result, especially with your products data, etc.

    2. First, deactivate your newly updated wooceommerce plugin.

    3. Using FTP go to your Woocommerce plugin and erase all files of the newly updated woocommerce plugin. You don’t have to delete the Woocommerce folder though, only whats inside the folder which was previously updated.

    4. Next, go to your backup plugin files in your computer. Find woocommerce folder, go inside that folder, then copy paste or select and drag all the files to the empty woocommerce folder on your live site.

    5. After its done copying, go to your plugin page then active again the woocommerce plugin. It will still show the “Your theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files – if you encounter functionality issues on the frontend this could the reason. Ensure you update or remove them (in general we recommend only bundling the template files you actually need to customize). See the system report for full details.” … just hide it 🙂 since it will keep telling you to make the update. It works for me 🙂 So I will not give any guarantee if you want to use the method I prescribe above.

    6. Last but not least, if maybe you are not aware or ready on how to make a woocommerce plugin update, which can be of various reasons of which in this case I suggest Woocommerce should also make an options for their user to roll back to previous version of woocommerce, just incase some people might need that, since people need time to make any adjustment to ask for a theme compatibility adjustment to their developer or because of other reasons which maybe occured, while on the same time their site need to run normally. Anyway, the woocommerce plugin update is really a good thing for us, but if I may suggest is that plugin developers should also aware that some WordPress users are novice in technicality and some might only end users who accidentally press the update button and “ups …”.

    7. I also suggest that users who were not familiar with updating plugin should not make an update before reading what will the plugin do to your site in a whole. Just make sure you know what you are doing. My best suggestion is to make regular backup of the database and all the files, before making any wordpress, plugin or theme update.

    I hope it helps. Thanks

I’ve had this problem with products with variations only.

    I’m using Simpleo theme.

I did the 2.1.4 update and it seemed fine – the add to cart was working on the products with variations – then when I added another regular product – the add to cart disappeared on all products with variations. I’d made no other change when it went from working perfectly to not working.

I’ve tried the suggestions in http://develop.woothemes.com/woocommerce/2014/02/solving-common-issues-after-updating-to-woocommerce-2-1/ it made no difference and I’ve tried reverting to 2.0.x and I still have the same issue.

Any other suggestions? I’ve had to take the site down while I try to get this fixed.

    Thanks.

I noticed this problem only happens to me on Internet Explorer when adding to cart from a list. Which leads me to think its to do with the Internet Exploror AJAX problem http://docs.woothemes.com/document/ajax-problems-windows-7-8-internet-explorer-10/

Adding to cart works fine from the product page on IE.

Not sure if that helps anyone.
