Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » Locks me out of site and can't revert to 2.0.20

  • I updated my plugins as I regularly do. After updating to Woocommerce 2.1 all of a sudden I was totally locked out of my site. Only brought up a blank page. I had to go into my site via ftp and deactivate Woocommerce 2.1. I don’t have time to deal with the upgrade right now so decided to just go back to the way it was.

I then put back in place woocommerce 2.0.20 from a local backup and was then able to get into my site but upon activating woocommerce 2.0.20 it triggers a fatal error.

WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘AS updatestate’ at line 10]
UPDATE wp_postmeta pm SET pm.meta_value = ‘NL’ WHERE pm.meta_key = ‘_billing_state’ AND pm.meta_value = ‘NF’ AND pm.meta_id IN ( SELECT pmi.post_id FROM wp_postmeta pmi WHERE pmi.meta_key = ‘_billing_country’ AND pmi.meta_value = ‘CA’ ) AS updatestate

I went into my hosts tools and checked my wordpress SQL DB but no errors were found. I have no idea how to resolve this and no time to do so but I need to get back to the old version but can’t.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
