Hi Paul, thank you for the plugin. Anyone checking your support forum realizes you’re so helpful. You’re awesome.

I found out about your plugin when I was searching for leaderboards. I landed on Achievements, which I understand is for gamification purposes.

Coincidentally, I’m doing a course on Coursera about gamification but I have a different question for you.

Is there a way to show a leaderboard (sports league, basketball, or football etc) in a widget on the sidebar? I’ve seen some websites have it.

    Here’s an example, http://imgur.com/xq0H3pj.

    Hi; thanks!

Right now, the leaderboard in achievements is only accessible through a widget unless you use a shortcode in a page, so… yes 🙂

    Paul, thanks for the reply.

I’m still not sure how do those websites show their rankings, http://imgur.com/xq0H3pj

Do you think it’s pulling data from some API or external website? Would this be possible with your plugin?

Those are typically little javascript embeds provided by a service; for sports (in the UK, at least), it’s often a company like Opta providing them. If you just want a widget or an embed of some kind of external data, that doesn’t sound like it’s anything to do with Achievements 🙂

    Thank you for clarifying, Paul.
