    Hi,

When I upload an image from my iPad, the image appears upside down when I view it in the media library of my desktop, but appears normally right side up on the iPad.

Also, when I installed the plugin on a particular site, it seemed to not be able to complete an image upload (a small jpg). I got some error message in small red letters starting with, “Http…”. I was trying to recreate the error, but I wasn’t able to. However, when I did the upload through the WordPress media manager, I was able to select it to insert it into the widget from there. The only thing I could think of doing was disabling the TinyMce text editor (which I installed the same day), although everything seemed ok after that, I can’t say if TinyMce interfered with the plugin file upload.

I’ve used this plugin for a long time, and these are the only issues I’ve had. Do you know if there have been any issues with WordPress 3.8.1 or plugins?

    Thanks!

  • I’m not really sure what might be going on there except that I’ve seen cases where iOS stores weird meta data with the images it takes and sometimes WordPress uploads them upside down.

I had written something to address this a few years ago but i’m not maintaining it any more. You’re welcome to try it.

    Thanks Peter,

I’m actually more concerned with the upload on the PC. Should I keep trying to recreate the issue? It just seemed to time out and not complete the upload. At the moment, it’s ok. I don’t have many plugins on this particular site. I don’t really need TinyMce except to create tables which I could do by coding my own html. Has anyone reported any upload issues? I’m using the theme Weaver, which is excellent.

    Thanks.
