Help with the Calendar

I’ve searched around and haven’t found an answer to this, so hopefully somebody can help me out. I’m trying to find out what I need to do to remove the titles that popup when you hover over a link in the Calendar. They appear to be the post titles and I know that the file general-template.php is probably what I need to edit, but I’m not sure what lines to change to get the desired result. Can someone help me with this? I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
