    New Plugin Version: 1.92
    Severity: Critical

The “Click here to update now” link redirects to /wp-admin/update-core.php

    It’s a multisite installation.

I checked at my plugin page but they sem all up-to-date. Moreover I can’t see any plugin that would be on version 1.91 or 1.9 so I don’t know where this 1.92 is coming from.

What is this plugin? Why can’t Wordfence find its name?

    Thanks for your help!
    Best Regards

    Hi Laurent,

Any chance you can grep your site code for ‘1.92’ without quotes? What I mean by grep is do a text search on your site. I’d like to find out what this is.

    Regards,

    Mark

Unfortunately several plugins showed up and none of them inclduded the wp-content/plugins/pluginName.php file which would be an obvious candidate.

If you don’t mind can you search through some of those plugin source files and see if you can find the one with version 1.92?

Sure 🙂 but… how can I do that? How do I look into all thoses files? One by one / by hand?

I posted something to the main forum which will hopefully help.

Yes sorry I don’t really know how to debug this for you via forum posts other than to guide you in what I’d do. You’re going to have to sift around by hand.

You could create a mirror of your site with all the same plugins and data and gradually yank out plugins until the problem goes away and that would isolate it.

Could moderators do this please? I don’t want to let all this stuff on this page but can’t delete it myself.

    Thanks!

    I couldn’t, but moderators did 🙂

    So…

    What is the solution here?

I’m having the same issue, only the version number is 4.3.5

Can you instruct me as to how I would “grep” for that?

And what is “the main forum?”

I have nine plugins installed and none of them are near that version number.

    Thank you,
    Mitch

    now same here. 4.3.5
