• Hi,

We’ve uploaded a lot of galleries as nextGEN Basic Thumbnails and I’ve noticed that the portrait images are displayed as landscape images.

I’m sure that there is a way of changing this but if you wouldn’t mind pointing me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated.

Can you also let me know if images that have already been uploaded will be affected or if I would need to upload them again for the new settings to take effect.

    Thanks!

@canu – If you go under Gallery > Manage Galleries … click on the gallery with the images not showing in their expected orientation.

Now you can use the “Rotate” option under each image you want to change. Just click the “Save Changes” button once you are done.

    Thanks!

    Hi Cais,

Sorry, I should have also added that the image is also distorted.

I tried that solution and unfortunately it didn’t work.
The orientation of the image had changed but the proportions have remained the same.

Here is a link to one of the images that we had uploaded previously:

    Thanks again…

    Hi Cais,

Have you had a chance to take another look at this?

    Thanks….

@canu – Have you tried regenerating the thumbnails for those images?

See the “Create new thumbnail” action under Bulk Actions in the gallery where the thumbnails you are having problems with are.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
