• Update: After posting review below, the issue was addressed (see comment); so I’ve updated my rating. Definitely a nice widget.

    This moon phase widget seems to pull its data from the following web site: https://dianagarland.com/wdget_moon_phase/

    Unfortunately that web site says it uses the WP-Super-Cache website. As a result, if the moon phase page got generated a few days ago and then cached the widgets that use this information will also display old information on the moon phase.

    It is a nice widget but given primary purpose is to show moon phase; giving a rating of 2 because of the stale data.

    Oh wow, that’s embarrassing.

    Thank-you so much, this might have taken me forever to figure out, since the development server I use doesn’t have caching enabled, but the production server does, as you’ve identified.

    I’ve fixed the caching issue – and I’ve added a date stamp (if people don’t like this, I’ll remove it).

    Now that it’s fixed, if you’re willing to alter your rating, that would really help me out.
