Sorry for the many posts.
Once again, I removed the NextGen Gallery and installed version 2.0.33. At first it worked well but after two changes in the other options missing items from the drop-down menu of Lightbox Effects and saves with the error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function save() on a non-object in /web/htdocs/www.sellasarda.com/home/web/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_admin/class.form.php on line 70
Help please! I do not understand why the NGGallery is not working properly!
@css0101 – There could be a conflict with another of your active plugins and there may be some corrections coming out in our next (beta) release as well that together may correct all of the issues you are seeing.
You might consider rolling back to version 2.0.30 again until we have released the next version (2.0.53 or greater).

Active: Akismet; Cyr-To-Lat; Embed Facebook; Jetpack; MapPress Easy Google Maps; mqTranslate; Rich Text Tags, Categories, and Taxonomies; TinyMCE Advanced; Role User Editor; WordPress SEO; WP Clean Up; WP Lightbox 2.
Inactive: Plugins Garbage Collector; Regenerate Thumbnails; WPtouch Mobile Plugin.
I do the following: Remove the Gallery, removed all its folders, deleted all of its tables from the database, clear the browser cache.
Then I installed version 2.0.30 of the zip archive.
And made some changes in the Other Options:

Save changes. I went into the Other Options for the second time:

Previously selected item Fancybox disappeared from the list. I highlight No Lightbox.
Saved with the error:

I have exactly the same problem with newest version of WP and Nextgen 2.0.65. I was switching plugins to on and off and I see that conflict may be with mqTranslate and or Advanced Custom Fields. But mainly please focus on mqTranslate (for of dead qTranslate).
I use as an effect thickbox. I save. Then it is removed from the select / option. I choose another effect and again the same result. Can you fix this?
@slick101 – This seems to be related more to mQtranslate which would be a different issue and should be its own topic. I would suggest starting a new topic describing your particular issue(s) rather than reviving this three month old topic.
