• Hi,

I have the pro theme and I set my blog layout to grid. It shows the excerpt, but not a “read More’ link to indicate you can read the full post. Am I missing something or is this not yet possible?

    Thanks much!

  • Designing a site and I would like this on the blog excerpt, we understand what […] could mean, but using the old kiss method (keep it simple stupid), there are a lot of our potential audience that just need it in black and white.

This is a link I found
    http://www.wikihow.com/Add-Read-More-to-Wordpress
It seems you can’t have a grid, only the blog setting and show full page not excerpt.
It inserts a button ‘continue reading’
    I’ll keep looking
    Hope this helps

    Hi jgisler

Looks like you’ve found a temporary fix. Vantage and Post Loop (PB) unfortunately don’t have a read more link just yet. It’s on the list of features to implement moving forward. For now you could use the Grid template in the Post Loop (PB) widget. The Grid template does display a post excerpt if there is one. You can manually place a read more link in the excerpt with a link to your post.

    Kind regards

    Andrew
