• Please excuse the dumb question – I did notice a similar post going back a couple of months but no solution so thought I’d take the liberty of posting a similar question:

I’ve installed and configured Social and have linked it to my Facebook account with pages support enabled. I wanted it configured so that it only shares posts on a specific page that I administer. For that page, I checked off Default and Enabled. I haven’t checked anything else. Unfortunately, it seems that broadcasting goes through both the page and my personal account. Is there a way to turn this off for my personal account but keep it on for the page? Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

    Thanks!

  • I second this question.

    A workaround:
    By the user—
Violate FB ToS, create dummy account and give it admin permissions for your page.

Two possible fixes, one of which has a snowball’s chance:
    By Social—
require ‘enable’ on user account to post as FB user

By Facebook for Social Proxy by Mailchimp app—
more granular privacy controls, permissions down to a single page. If I only want the app to mess with one page, and not my personal account, why can’t I do that?
