Password Error in WordPress

    Hi WordPress team,

    I have a password issue in the user’s profile area.
    when a user tries to change his password to 2 characters long it still saves.

    And you place there:

    Hint: The password should be at least seven characters long. To make it stronger, use upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols like ! ” ? $ % ^ & ).

    I’m just wondering. I hope you’ll resolve this issue.

    I believe that’s expected behaviour.

    The hint is a recommendation to steer people in the right direction, but not a hard requirement.
