Can we make Pop Up appear only on home page & disappear permanently on sign up?

Hi,

I have my Aweber email sign up form appear as a popup when someone visits my site. It also seems to “pop up” when people dig in to the site and visit other pages – something, I wish it didn’t do. I have gotten complaints, too, that the form keeps popping up even after someone joins the list.

Is there a way to make it appear only when someone visits the main page – and disappear permanently once someone signs up? Any help/experiences or suggestions are much appreciated.
