Support » Fixing WordPress » How can I change font sizes in my post?

  • I can’t seem to be able to change the font size in my post. Blogger has a drop-down in its equivalent to WP’s “Visual” view, which lets me select a font size (small, large, larger, etc.); I can’t find this feature in WP.

    I have tried moving the html tag in the Code view, but that doesn’t work: the view just keeps going back to exactly the way I don’t want it.

    I’m sure this is easy to solve, but I can’t figure it out. Help me out, WP experts!

    Steve

    P.S. What version of WP am I using? Good question. I can’t figure that out either.

  • Font size is controlled by css here, http://canadianenergyissues.com/wp-content/themes/newsflash/style.css

    You are using 2.3.3

    Thanks, Kmessinger. I already did that, and achieved some positive results.

    However, it’s the fonts within the individual posts that are giving me headaches. I remove the HTML tags that seem to be controlling font size (in Code view), but they just keep reappearing, making my posts look totally amateurish.

    Is there any way to control font size inside individual posts?

    I would add something like font-size: 4em; to .post .entry {
    padding-bottom: 15px; on line 261.

    If that doesn’t work try another place. With 4em is is enough to notice a change and you should be able to find the correct place pretty quickly.

    That is how I have solved most of my problems over the last year as I am not (nor do I want to be) a css or php guru.

    Is there no plugin for this type if thing?
