    Hi, i am trying to install wordpress for the first time using Softaculous
    my host is freehosting.com and I registered my domain through 1and1.
    I installed the wordpress through softaculous and when I click on the admin link or on my site NOTHING comes out.
    I am very new at this can someone tell me what am I doing wrong?

    Did you update the wp-config.php file?

    If not please update it using your database name,password etc.

    well, if i am using Softaculous, should’t it update automatically? Can you please tell me how to update it?

    Hi,

    I am from the Softaculous team. You do not need to update the wp-config.php Softaculous will do that for you.

    Can you please confirm if your domain is pointing to the correct IP. Please verify if the name servers are set correct.

    If you still face the issue you can open a support ticket with us and we will check the issue for you.

    Having trouble with new version wordpress 3.8.1 – will not load media now in any fashion…receiving this: greyphoto_1.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
    The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2014/01. Does not copy as .jpg but as this file:beswinIMG_56621

    Can anyone please help? If it is permissions, where do I find this file to correct?
