• We installed this plugin and found it to be quite promising. We developed workflows, how-tos, and did some training. And then, after an upgrade, when we go to add a new workflow, we get a popup telling us we are only allowed one workflow unless we upgrade to the pro version. Lest anyone think we merely leechers, we have paid for plug-ins. In particular Sendpress Pro. To pay for additional features is one thing, but to offer a free plugin and then hobble it is more like bait and switch. It has been removed.

We did so, because we got a lot of inquiries asking how to create a new workflow. We thought it would be best to have something within the plugin that conveys the message.
However, to make it less intrusive, instead of displaying the message on the “new workflow” button, we will display it on some other page. We will move the message to another location with the next release. Thanks for pointing it out.

The “Pro” not only allows you to create multiple workflows, but it also has a bunch of additional features.
Features like “Copy workflow” and “Copy step” will help the workflow admin to create workflows from existing workflows and existing steps.

We also added more reporting features. What we found is for bigger organizations, its necessary to have a better insight on what’s assigned to whom and what’s the status on various articles. We added two new reports to better manage the assignments.

We also added “auto-submit” feature to allow organizations to setup their workflows to have automatic submission. This will help with organizations that have external feeds coming into their site and would like to have those reviewed before publishing the same on their site.
