    Hi,

I installed Optin Revolution WordPress Popup a few days ago using the automated install from the WordPress repository. I have the most recent version and believe there was a recent update that I installed.

Since installing and activating the plugin, even before enabling a popup, my site’s public and admin page loads began to slow. I have 14 active plugins that I deactivated and reactivated one-by-one.

Before installing OR’s popup, my site page would usually load in two seconds or less using webtesting sites. Once the plugin is activated, even without enabling a popup, it loads at 10-15 seconds at best. (I should note that I also have installed but not activated WPMU’s popup plugin as OR’s plugin seems a better fit for our needs.)

QUESTION: Is this a known issue and, if known, is there a setting to fix it or another workaround?

There’s another issue of the popup not editing, even after disabling my TinyMCE plugin, but hopefully resolving this above will resolve that too.

    Thanks.

    Hi Catalyx,

We don’t have any fancy functions to loop and other that could interrupt the wp loading, we tested this already. And popup editing, yes tinymce is required. And we are developing for now the ckeditor to replace the tinymce for editing the content.

May I know your site please, I want to look. Thanks.
