2nd Position Sticky Post is it Possible?

I am looking for a plugin to make a post lock to a certain position. Example: the post of my choice would stay in the 2nd position until I changed a setting. I want want my second post to be feature for 5 days in 2nd position and then I will make it unsticky. A plugin or hack would be very helpful. Thank you!
