ecb29 – that more tag doesn’t quite do that…. the more tag cuts it off… there’s no way to resume from the cut, which is what the LJ Cut hack did. If the site isn’t there anymore, then the only hope is that someone else has turned it into a plugin (much cleaner than a hack) and is willing to share it.

I wrote this today, may be of some use: wpCut
It can’t yet handle <lj-cut> style tags because the HTML cleaner baulks on the dash, but it does support [cut]...[/cut] (BBcode style) and <!--cut-->...<!--/cut--> (HTML comment) styles.
