Suggestions on speeding up performance of WP RSS Multi Importer | WordPress.org

My site is loading unusually slowly, and I believe WP RSS Importer is the culprit. I don’t have any other heavy-weight plugins installed. Can someone offer suggestions as to how to improve the speed of this plugin? My site is SlovenskeNovice.com

If you’re using the shortcode, then get the beta version instead which puts all the items in the database, so it loads just like a typical WP site.

12 feeds using shortcode with beta version creates a 2.93 second load time addition per page…more load time than 57 other plugins combined.

also, if you deactivate my plugin and your site is still running slow, then the problem is with your server or some other plugin.
