Well, from the looks of it, the triggers have been reached and done, but it hasn’t actually awarded yet. Kind of obvious, but just reaffirming. The log would say something along the lines of “User has unlocked the $badgename badge” once achieved.

So, that brings up the question of why is it not triggering the achievment.

Could you provide screenshots of the achievement settings that you have for this badge?

Sure! So first of all, check the log (some words are in Greek but you get the point I assume).

Now, about the settings, check the following screenshots:

    SS1
    SS2

Please let me know if I can offer any further assistance.

I tried with another badge, this time I was asking only for a login but again I had the same result: the user had unlocked the achievement but didn’t trigger it :/

Well, it’s not unlocking/awarding. That’s the issue. You’re setting off the triggers, like you see in the log, but it’s not causing the award to be granted.

Can you visit the user profile in WP Admin for one of these users and see if it’s showing the badge at all, it’ll be towards the bottom.

OK, something really weird is happening here… When I load the profile page for myself, while the page is loading a frame is shown containing the achievements (during my first refresh it actually showed the achievements’ icons as well).

However when the page loads fully, the achievements’ area shows only this. Strange, init…?

Yeah, I noticed that too with my local host. I’m curious if part of it is from the debug mode being true. (Thus needs to be debugged/fixed). At least it’s just in the admin.

Regardless, in the 2nd screenshot, it showed you didn’t have any awarded like I was curious about.

Hmm. Not sure at this point. I’m wondering, but not super hopeful, if your php error log has anything.

Apparently there’s a conflict with the theme I’m currently using (“Made” by Industrial Themes); I tried BadgeOS in another WordPress site, based on another theme and seems to function so yeap, the theme is the issue here. In my theme I am able to assign badges manually but not automatically. Any ideas about any settings I should change or anything I should take into account?

Besides, there’s another problem. The only members who seem to be able to check their badges/achievements through the widget are these who have the rights to modify the plugin – i.e. not the simple members but admins and moderators. Any ideas whether I can change this…?

Hmm. Nothing I can think of. BadgeOS was really meant to be theme-agnostic but that doesn’t mean there won’t be conflicts ever. Without any specific errors, we can’t really do much to help prevent/resolve them.

The widget is meant to show the achievements of the current user, regardless of their capabilities.

Did this ever resolve itself sir_pretender or is it still an issue?
