    Hello Bryan,

You have to turn on “Filter in Media Uploader” (see http://s.w.org/plugins/enhanced-media-library/screenshot-1.png?r=839241, checkboxes covered by yellow rectangle) for the taxonomy you are using for media files.

If it doesn’t work anyway, please deactivate other plugins and try again. This way you will help me to find out which plugin is in conflict with EML.

    Nadia,

I’m a little perplexed. I deactivated every plugin on the site and I still don’t get the drop-down to show up. I then changed the theme to the WordPress 2014 theme and still haven’t got the drop-down in the media upload area.

I thought maybe I misunderstood what they plugin did so I created a clean install with WordPress and added the plugin and then “of course” the drop-down did appear on the clean install.

I’m a little confused at what my next move should be. The site I am trying this on is a development site so I can break things as much as I want to try to make it work. It’s at http://www.listentothewindmedia.com/dev/ysnews

If it would help, I can give you a username and password to the site and/or set up an ftp account if you want to poke around?

    Any advice is appreciated.

Below are screen shots of the areas I have set showing what my settings are and no drop-down.

    Bryan,

Hm, sounds weird… Yes, please give me an access.

First, just to WP admin. I will let you know if I need FTP. Also please note that I will be able to look at it only after 24 hours (from now). Thanks for you help. It might be you’ve found a bug.

    Nadia

I am having the same issue. It used to work.

I am seeing a “Uncaught RefrerenceError: wp is not defined”

I have not had a chance to run it down yet, but will report back if I find a solution.

Nadia solved the issue with reference to the site I was working on. You might want to try her updated plugin (In BETA though) here. https://github.com/wp-plugins/enhanced-media-library/tree/1.0.4.1

    Bryan

Ah great. The beta did solve my issue. Thanks!

Oh, thank you Bryan! I had to post it here myself… I will include this “beta” to the next upgrade.

    Nadia,

Sorry…I guess beta isn’t technically right. I didn’t quite know what I should call it yet since you were still doing work on it before your next release.

    Thanks again for the help.

    Bryan,

What wrong with beta? Yes, I will test it more carefully, and some code is revised for other features development. But it would be extremely helpful if you let me know which problem you still have with it.

    Thanks!

    Nadia,

Nothing is wrong with the plugin. It works great. I was just apologizing because I called it a beta when it clearly is not. No testing is needed of the plugin in my opinion. It works GREAT.

    Bryan
