• Hi there. I’m using ngg gallery v0.93 on wp2.5. Great plugin; Thanx Alex!

When I open a landscape image in the ImageBrowser, the width of a post determines the width of the image. So far so good.
But it does the same for portrait images, which then show in a much larger size than the landscape ones, resulting in stretched images and in having to scroll.

Is there any way to resolve this, so both landscape and portrait images are shown in the same size in ImageBrowser (i.e. 500×300 and 300×500)?

I already tried tweaking the .css for the ImageBrowser, as suggested in another topic, but I can’t get it to work for both landscape and portrait oriented images.

(By the way, the SlideShow does all this perfectly, when its options for ‘width’ and ‘height’ are set to the same value, i.e. 500px X 500px, and the ‘stretch image:’-option is set to ‘false’. Anything like this available for the ImageBrowser?)

  • Shoshin, did you ever find a solution for this? I’m having the same problem.

the same problem here. protrait image stretch to 506 px from original width 450px. Anybody please give us a fever..

    Hi,
just to give it a try: In your choosen gallery css gallery->style look for .ngg-imagebrowser img { take out width=100% an see what happens.

    best regards
    bee

hi bee dudler, thanks for your kindness. Your trick is working very well.. once again thank you very much for your time..

Hi bee dudler, I tried your trick. works on Firefox but on IE, the image expands out to the sidebars if the original image width is wider then the width of the post. Anything else I need to change? Thanks.
