    Hi,

The search form shortcode has an option to send the result to any page/post on your blog. You can view all shortcodes and their options in our BePro Listings Shortcodes documentation.

Regarding the styling of the filter, you may have to edit the css to accomplish your goals. We offer wordpress development services for customization’s of the plugin

    [search_form]

listing_page – enter any url path under your website url set in admin e.g. (Listings)

OK I set it to a page, Reviews. However, what is this “set in admin”? The plugin option don’t allow me to set a page or really specify anything of that nature?
As far as the CSS on the filter, I am a wp dev / web programmer myself. Was just hoping there was as a simple fix.

    Hi,

Is your question : why is this not set in the admin?

If so then we appreciate the suggestion. However, we believe that the shortcode option provides the most flexibility. Our goal is to be inclusive of as many different website configurations as possible.

If i did not understand your question correctly then, a string search of “BePro Listings” does not return any results with the phrase “set in admin”. You will have to provide a screen shot of your issue

Regarding the filter, we provide a widget and a shortcode option. I’m not sure exactly what your particular styling issue is; However, there is no customization options for them, other than through css and wordpress. In fact, we have several plugins which interface with the filter e.g. BePro Listings Realestate using wordpress hooks. We are working on documentation for this. We also have an example of a custom filter like the one setup on our $1 wordpress theme folioprojects.com. Unfortunately, its impossible to create something that works 100% on everyone’s custom theme for free.

    Greetings,
You missed what I was asking 🙂
It says on your website regarding the shortcode option what I said above
listing_page – enter any url path under your website url set in admin e.g. (Listings)

Specifically what you trying to say here: your website url set in admin ?
    Thanks,

    Hi,

You are right, i missed your question entirely and apologize for that.

Currently the plugin forces the result of this option, to end up on your website. So it uses the website url which is set in the wp-admin to help form the link automatically. This means that if you entered your website name as part of the answer, it would fail. It would end up being “yourwebsite/yourwebsite/page” So instead of putting the entire url, simply use a page name/path.

So for e.g. “directory/listings” would be an adequate input. The result would be “yourwebsite/directory/listings” because the code automatically adds your website to the beginning. If “listings” wasn’t a sub page, then you would just use “listings”, etc

If this is something you would like to see work differently, we are always open to suggestions on our BePro Listings Forms
