    Hi

I wonder if anyone has the same problem as me. I am using attitude theme and the vanilla pdf embed works great but it cuts off the menu options of attitude theme. It looks like the vanilla pdf embed renders in front of the menu options and the menu options renders in the back. Hence the menu options hide at the back. It only happens in IE. No problem in Safari, Chrome and Firefox.

    Thanks

Can you provide a screenshot of the effect you’re talking about?

    Hi Mike,

even i find the similar problem with the I.E 11.0 but woks fine with the Firefox.

    Thanks,
    Mohan.

The issue is the Menu is BEHIND the embedded PDF. This also happens anytime something is launched using a “Fancy Box” type of viewer. The Embedded PDF covers the Fancy box.

scenario, I am embedding a training document in a page, and a hot link on the side for the Appendix. So if the student is referred to the appendix they can click the link and it should open over the screen so hey can read the reference material.

I am having the same issue. Not with all browsers but with some. It can be seen on the site

    experiencer.co (no m just co)

The PDFs show great but if they are at the top of the page then they cover the dropdown menu.

Any help would be great we are a non-profit and almost done with the site for the grand opening sept 1st.

I can’t get a screen shot because s soon as I move the cursor the drop down menu disappears. I have tried. So sorry did this ever get resolved for the other people?

I’m almost certain this is not a bug in my plugin. Unfortunately, PDF embedding support varies widely by browser and browser version. If this plugin isn’t working for you, consider not embedding PDFs (really, embedding PDFs is bad, you should avoid it), or try using javascript to accomplish this in a more customizable way.

Mike, I have the same issue on Chrome can you check this out and suggest how to fix the view, the PDF is not fully viewable! thanks
