• I saw it says we can use “Thickbox, Greybox or Lightbox“, but does anyone know if we can use slimbox?

    Cheers…

    Sweet thanks…

    How do I get Greybox to work in NextGen?

    @@ Deyson

    This plugin will apply the effect automatically to you galleries:
    greybox plugin

    Thank you maierma 🙂

    I have greybox plugin activated, but in the options for NEXTGen there is no greybox selection for Java effect, I tried all of them but none of them gets greybox to work..

    There’s no need to change anything, as I said, it applies the effect automatically. (check options for activated greybox-pligin).

    Howeveer, you can, of course try out this, but the abve mentioned metho sould do, nothing else necesary:
    Cange the effecc to “custom” and add
    class="greybox" rel="%GALLERY_NAME%"

    Worth a try.

    Did not work 🙁

    I really want greybox to work with next gen 🙁

    🙂

    How about this?

    rel="slimbox[%GALLERY_NAME%]"

    If that doesn’t work, I suppose there’s a conflict with another plugin, worth checking out, too.

    I use slimbox just fine. Slimbox doesn’t use rel=”slimbox”.. it uses rel=”lightbox” .. or at least in all my versions of it. 🙂

    Check example (mootools 1.11 + Slimbox):

    hi tommie,
    you are using mootootls and slimbox, is that right ?
    or do you need a nextgen gallery also in the background ?

    i have the problem, slimbox is working very well with 2.5
    but it doesn t show arrows for skipping and only one image.
    So what i miss is to skip many images out of one gallery.
    Can t find any solution yet, and don t like to upload nextgen as a more complex solution.

    what do you think ?

    best

    Thanks @tommiehansen, slimbox works like a charm
    You can see a working sample (of my country) here 😉

    Butterbay:

    Yes, mootools + slimbox. I also use the plugin “Add Lightbox” in order to add lightboxes to all regular WordPress images that are on the site.

    If you got problems with the images not viewing you should check to see if the CSS-code refers to the images in a correct mannor. It’s quite common to miss it.. 🙂
