Want To Merge Comments from Many Categories into 1 or 2

    I set up my blog to have several post categories.After several months I see that most of the activity is in 1 or 2 categories, although many categories do have some minimal participation.

    So I thought that if I could somehow move the posts and their comments from the lesser-used categories into just 1 or 2 categories, I could unclutter the blog and make it a bit more undaunting. Most of my readers are not very computer-savvy and I think having so many categories simply bums them out.

    Is what I’m thinking a simple task (for a non-programmer, that is) or is it pretty involved? I don’t know where to begin, and if somebody could point me in the right direction it sure would help. Plugins, maybe?

    When you delete a category, all the posts that were in it get moved to your Default category.

    So, set the category that you want to move posts to as Default, then delete the ones you want to lose.
