What to Replace in Page.php?

This tip page on getting pagenavi to work for multipage setup says to replace this with this, but my page.php doesn’t have that particular code in it, so what do I replace in my page.php?

The installation page for this plugin says to replace calls to next_posts_link() and previous_posts_link() , but I don’t see either of those calls in my page.php.
