Cannot Active – Redirect Loop

    I cannot active the plugin in WordPress due to a redirect loop. Any attempt to access any page in the WordPress backend results in WordPress attempting to access the following:

    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=backwpupabout

    The only way to get back into WordPress is to delete the plugin via FTP. How can I active the plugin with out the redirect loop?
