    Hi I am using this plugin. But when i click on build sitemap it’s showing…

    “There was a problem writing your sitemap file. Make sure the file exists and is writable. Learn more

    I can’t understand that how to solve it. Please help me.

    you can use beta version of google site map generator

    http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/google-sitemap-generator.4.0b11.zip

    please remove old version and install new
    it’s works well

    The beta version also not works on WP 3.8
    Upon submission to google webmaster, it shows the following error:-

    We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided and then resubmit.

    And

    URL restricted by robots.txt

    Don’t know why this happens.
    I also kept this option unchecked

    Add sitemap URL to the virtual

    . Still the problem occurs.
    Also, I can’t find the .xml or zip file in the server, and no option for creating/recreating the sitemap.
    I think the beta version is bugged.
    Any help?

    beta version of google site map generator is dynamic and it hasn’t file to editing and it’s not a bug

    if you see problem in google webmaster tools you can use strictly sitemap builder

    I know that sitemap files need not to be edited, it will be generated automatically.
    But, when I tried to submit the sitemap to google analytics, it is showing the errors as follows:-

    Error description:-
    We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided and then resubmit.

    So, the sitemap can’t be submitted to google at all.
    How to rectify the same? anyone?
