thanks for the link. unfortunately i did not have the time to dig into the issue as you did. i’ve been thru some forums and as more than 50% of the nextgen updates did not succeed (according to the plugin download stats) i deactivated the plugin, tested the page without nextgen and as it was working fine without it, i rolled back to previous version. on top of it, i’m traveling at the moment and did not have the time for deeper analyzing, i might have it over the next week or so.
but yes, the basic strange behavior of the site (sometimes the admin, sometimes the page, sometimes it displays the page after a minute and sometimes nothing at all) i guessed that issues with the memory are causing it.
