Translating Widget Function into an existing Custom Post Type

    OK,

    So I have a great widget that basically functions as a PDF file uploader. I also have a theme with a custom Portfolio Project type.

    My question: how do i “translate” a widget into functionality for the custom post type? I’d really like the file uploader to show up on the admin side of my Portfolio entries.

    Would anybody be able to point me in the right direction to get things started?
