Unable to verify listing

    Hi There,

    I’m currently running a trial of this plugin with my store but i’m having trouble getting the products to verify with ebay.

    These are the issues that i’m experiencing.

    Warning: Return Policy input not applicable. (#21916711)
    The Return Policy field Refund in the input has been ignored.

    This error dissapears if I do not have “offer refund” selected in the profile, but I have to have this selected for buy it now items (since all my products are fixed price).

    Error: Business sellers are obliged to accept returns for any Buy It Now items. (#21916800)
    Please specify your return policy details. Business sellers are obliged to inform consumers about their return policy for Buy It Now items.

    This error dissapears once I have “offer refunds” selected in the profile but error number 1 still shows.

    Error: Duration invalid. (#83)
    The duration “GTC” day(s) is not available for this listing type, or invalid for category “15687”.

    This displays no matter what listing duration length I have within the profile.

    I’m assuming this is more to do with me having a new ebay account rather than settings within the plugin.

    Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

    Figured this out in the end – it was to do with restrictions placed on the category I wanted to list in and the fact I have a new ebay account. The other warnings still show but do not stop the listing from being verified and published.

    Glad to hear you figured it out – and you’re right: Warnings (yellow) do not stop you from listing an item, only errors (red) do that.

    The warning regarding your new account is normal and should go away after some time – that depends on eBay.

    But if you have any other errors or warning you need help with, I’d recommend to follow the steps described at http://www.wplab.com/plugins/wp-lister/faq/#Debugging to send a log record to support. This way I’ll be able to see exactly what was sent to eBay and what was returned as well.
