• Hello,

I’ve got someone looking into this for me, but he’s struggling to find a solution so I thought I’d ask for some tips here. I especially wonder whether anyone else is experiencing these problems after the last WordPress update.

Last weekend we made some changes to my website (www.drunkenwerewolf.com): we installed and changed the nameservers over to CloudFlare, installed WordPress 3.8 and the WP Smush.it plugin, inserted H1/H2 text on the homepage and metadata to the header.php. The site also crashed halfway through a cache clear out; we’re using the W3 Total Cache plugin.

At some point, it all started to go wrong. Unfortunately I’m not sure when but I’m guessing it was either the update or CloudFlare, as other WordPress users have mentioned problems with both on the internet.

The WordPress toolbar now appears unstylised at the bottom of the page beneath the footers. It also looks like a section of the stylesheet is missing (I can’t read CSS very well so can’t check, but I’m going off what the site looks like on my browser). The hyperlinks appear blue when they were once grey, I believe the font size has changed on the home page, and more annoyingly the comment section of each post is completely unformatted and lacking its white background.

Does anyone know what might have caused this? I appreciate rolling back WordPress/leaving CloudFlare probably won’t make the stylesheet section magically reappear, but I wonder whether one or the other is causing the WordPress toolbar issue? Any ideas?

(NB like I say, I can’t read CSS, but I can pass recommendations on to someone who can)
