Why Google only indexed 1 URL?

    Here is the status shown on Google webmaster about my site:

    Sitemap statistics:
    Total URLs: 76
    Indexed URLs: 1

    Why on earth this omnipotent search engine only indexes one url on my site?

    How long do you guys usually wait till Google graces all your urls?
