Sorry about that guys – I’ll have a new update very soon. In the meantime since you’re trying to delete (why God, why?!) you should be able to login to your cpanel or FTP to your site, browse to the wp-content/plugins folder and delete the easy-columns folder.

Again, I’ll have a fix ASAP!

No problemo. I only tried to delete it out of curiosity when I saw karenpullen’s post. 🙂 Love the plugin. Keep up the good work.

Hi I have the same issue. I tried deleting it as I wanted to reinstall it.

Apparently, text within the column brackets dont appear and the columns dont take effect unless they are viewed in the post link.

(only if you click on TEST, will the columns show the text and take effect)

Hope this helps in your quest to making it better (but i really love the plugin and have been using it since several years ago!!!!) THANKS

It doesn’t work for me. But I can’t uninstall it. Is there a manual way of uninstalling? When I try I get this message: Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /home/content/59/11797959/html/wp-content/plugins/easy-columns/easy-columns.php on line 459

    Hi.

I am having the same issue.

Can someone lead us step by step on how to do it? I am trying to clean up the back end of my website and I am stuck on that.

    Thanks

    Ok, got this fixed. Thanks!

    I think it is not…

    Still can’t remove the plugin.

The current version of the plugin 2.1.3 won’t have this problem – I’ve just tested it on several sites I own. If you want to manually uninstall it, you can FTP into your site, browse to wp-content/plugins and then delete the easy-columns directoty. Or you can login to your hosting account and browse the file system using cPanel and delete from there.
