Since activating, problems with main theme featured slider on home page

Hello – I love this slider and it is worked beautifully on all of my pages when I include the short code. I am a beginner so I found it very easy and intuitive. I am having one problem though and I am hoping you can help.

Since I activated the Cyclone 2 Slider, the featured slider on my home page that is part of the default settings for the theme has stopped functioning. I have written to the theme author and he suspects this could be some sort of conflict between the plugin and his theme. Is there anything you can suggest? If you take a look at the site, you’ll see that your sliders on individual pages (e.g., under Destinations \ Colombia) work perfectly. it’s just that on the main home page, I only have one photo displaying, rather than the 7 that were there scrolling before. I verified with the author that all of the featured slider settings for the home page are set correctly under Appearance \ Theme Options \ Featured Slider. I have asked him if he has any ideas including any code I could include in a child theme to help the featured slider on the home page still work but would also appreciate any thoughts you may have in case this is common.
