• I just made my first post since doing the latest patch. When I click add media i get he progress bar and it hangs. I saw the sticky and checked a few things. Anyone else having a problem since the patch or any tips?
Edit: I just noticed that the save button is flickering. Not sure what that means though

  • Not a clue. I’ve got two separate WP 2.5.1 installed on the same server. One works perfectly, the other one won’t upload images. All the file attributes are exactly the same, I use the same browser when administering them, but I still get the “HTTP error” message for the other one.
    Anyone got a clue?

I just upgraded to 2.5.1 and have exactly the same problem.

The moving progress circle on the top of the Firefox tab stops moving and nothing happens. I’ve tried upgrading Flash, entering the code into htaccess but it didn’t change anything.

My “Save” and “Publish” buttons are flickering as well.

Anyone got an idea? Thanks in advance:-)

same issue here.. just upgrade to 2.5.1 from 2.5 & when i click add media i get he progress bar and it hangs.

note: on 2.5 everything was working perfectly.. i did the upgrade on 2 different servers. The way i always do (following instruction from wordpress)

There seems to be a few problems with image uploader. To avoid too many posts, please allow me to add mine here.

IE fix for 2.5 did not work for IE7 on my machine. The media uploader is stucked at the bottom with the insert buttons hidden, problably some styling problem ?

Using Firefox, image did upload image files, but the link inserted into post is hiding the image? The Image style is locked to display: none? Even if I corrected it in html, but when it’s saved, it went back to display: none
    Interesting…

Frank, Go back to 2.3.3 since 2.5.x have lot of problems/bugs with this image thing & there is no way no one is going to help you here. Millions of post & nobody responding 😉

I did a downgrade to 2.3.3 & will stay there for a while.
