  • delete the plugin from your plugins folder.

Yes I did, but it still is stuck! Really strange… Who can help me?!?

I had the same thing. I then searched in my database tables (options table) for ‘plugin’ and found something like ‘activated-plugins’. There I deleted the part mentioning Maintainance mode plugin and saved the table. That worked.

Moxie, I found the labels with the wpau and I deleted all these 2 labels. I could not find the maintenance mode plugin. Really strange, after deleting the files… maintenance mode is still on the website. Can somebody help me?

its not a maintenance mode plugin. im just now looking at your site, its the automatic upgrade plugin thats putting you in a maintenance mode. that plugin should of told you after it was done how to take yourself out of it. if you cant figure it out, delete the automatic upgrade plugin.

I just checked my own database once more, the table(row?) in the optionstable is called active_plugins. That’s where I deleted something like this: “maintainance-mode/…php”;i:22;s:23.
Are you sure you did this and not something else?

I delete all the wpau-files from the database, what had to do with the upgrade. So Moxie, I don’t know why it isn’t working well. En Boober, I already deleted the plugin from the wp-content/plugin. Or do you mean sometime else?

Thanks already for all you help! I really appreciate!

Problem solved… I first changed the index files for the security and this had the maintenance mode in it…. so that was the reason for it! Thanks a lot all of you!

Hi brood22, I’m having the same problem now. can you please help me out?

None of the above worked for me.
However, I discovered I had an index.htm and an index.php. I renamed the index.htm so it was not the defalt and I’m back in business.
