  • What anti-spam plugins/measures are you using now? If the answer is “none”, then get some! Start off with Akismet and probably Cookies For Comments, and see what else you need from there.

    Thank You very much!

I have over 700 comments, none of them are from family and friends. All SPAM

Is there a way to delete all at once without having to check each one?

    Thx much

Once they are caught in spam, click Comments on the left nav, click on Spam on the top filter, click Empty Spam.

Thx, will give this a try.

Very, Very, Very disappointing and annoying that Word Press allows all these wackos comment to our family blog.

WordPress allows? It’s just a content management system. wordpress.org distributes and documents the WordPress application but has no connection with any site running that software. It’s up to you to maintain your own site and control comments. The Akismet plugin is installed in every WordPress site by default, so why didn’t you use it from the start?

    McD,

Go to your WP dashboard. Click on Plugins/Add new. Do a search for Spam Blockers. You will find several.

    Good luck
