Permalink Structure Change

    I have searched the forums and cant seem to find anything that actually relates to what I am trying to do!

    I set up my site but never changed the permalinks setting from the start and now I really need to change it but every time I do, the site disappears and I have to delete the htacess file and change the permalinks back.

    How can I change the permalink and have it update the pages and posts?
