Hi, when I use the short code with download=false I can still see the icon on the player and I can the PDF opens in the same window and can then be saved. I have seen someone here saying they were able to remove that option by deleting the command from the short code, but even when I remove it, they still appear and work. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

I am unable to replicate this on my test server. The parameter “download=false” works.

Are you sure it’s the icon of a file with a down arrow on it? Are you opening the actual pdf file in your browser and seeing you’re browser’s built-in pdf download button?

Removing it from the shortcode won’t work, I believe that user edited the code of the plugin to exclude all download functionality.

I think what happens is that once you use the short code and save it, you cannot edited, you have to place it again. What I was doing was placing it with true, and then, entering the post again and edited to false. That did not work. The only solution was to place a new code with false and then save. I have tried that with full screen as well and I seem to have the same problem. Not sure if that makes sense, but I have tried several times.

I would say it is resolved ;). Many thanks and good plugin, so far the best I have tested to embed PDFs in wordpress.
