Directly delete tags from within PHPMyAdmin ?

    Hello !

    I’d like to delete lots of tags from my blogs.

    By hand, it will take forever.

    However, in PHPMyAdmin, a simple Search feature, with the right terms, gets me all of them listed in one page, cleanly and all.

    Please, is it possible to delete them directly from within phpmyadmin ?

    I know that wordpress stores in wp_term_relationships and wp_term_taxonomy the “links” between the contents of wp_terms and the posts, categories and such. But maybe, MAYBE, once deleted from wp_terms, wordpress will finish the cleanup himself ?

    I’m asking just in case, thanks if you can tell me 🙂
