It seems that the scripts and styles are not loaded. Have you checked the option show in main loop? Because some other plugins cause easy photo albums being displayed on your front page, but Easy Photo Album doesn’t know about that. So when the option show in main loop isn’t checked, check it and it should display right.
If that option was already checked, I need to know more information before I can help you. Things like what theme you are using and what plugins are activated…

I’ve tried to deactivate my plugins if there are any conflicts with easy photo album and also tried changing to other themes but it still displayed the same in excerpts as vertical thumbnails. my blog is http://www.paulbade.com/ and take a look at my topic tour is over. Thanks for the quick reply.
I am looking at the code and I see a bug that caused your problem. I don’t know a quick fix for you right now, but there will be a quick bugfix update of Easy Photo Album that will fix this.

I have a variation of this – love the plugin – so wonderful for what I need – BUT in the lightbox the images do not have the correct proportions! http://romancescamsnow.com/dating-scams/albums/romance-scammer-photo-album/ no idea how to adjust this – code change? setting? please advise. Also, is there an option to page these if there are too many photos per page?
I fixed it myself – I added another lightbox plugin: Simple Lightbox which solved the problem, and gave me a better lightbox! CooL!
