Make site live

    Hi,

    So I have built my wordpress website but needed to upload it to my hosting service before it could live.

    I did not know how to do this so I spoke to them and they said it would easier and better for my uses to change the namer servers so the website stayed on the wordpress servers.

    ns1.wordpress.com
    ns2.wordpress.com

    The support person said it would be much easier this way as when I made changes, I would not need to upload the files each time.

    However, I changed the nameservers on Thursday and they are still not working.

    I get the message ‘Google could not find http://www.benpotter.com.au’.

    Please help me.

    Did you build your website on WordPress.com? If so you are in the wrong place. As you are using WordPress.com, you need to contact support at WordPress.com.

    However if you didn’t build your site on WordPress.com, this forum (WordPress.org) is probably the correct place to get help. We’ll need to know more about how/where you built your site and should then be able to help.
