changing sidebar widget titles to images – how?

I am running the cutline three column split theme at bloggingforjesus.net and want to change the titles of the sidebar categories (archives, recent posts, blogroll, etc.) to images with a font from my computer and some flowers to match the text box widget images that I have on the left side. Does anyone know how to do this? I have seen wordpress blogs that have done this, have search forums and the net and can’t find any info for this exact thing. I know how to put an image in a text box, but how do I change the other widget titles? I’ve tried hacking the style sheet and the sidebar.php???? Any suggestions or help??
