Is there some way to have the main content area stretch to include the area under the sidebar? All that whitespace going to waste drives me nutz! I’m using a highly stylized version of the default fixed-width theme. Thanks for any help.

umm, no, not really 🙂 Not without rewriting your theme.

I do believe thats the first time anyone has ever wanted that. It usually happens accidentally and drives the people it happens to nutz.

the solution to ridding yourself of that whitespace is to reduce the number of posts displayed per page, or put more stuff in your sidebar.

Keep in mind, no-one (generally) likes to scroll, so the former might be something you want to consider.

Thanks for the suggestions but I have my sidebar overloaded with images which slow down my page load too much already, so adding more content isn’t really an option that I would consider. As far as reducing posts, I’ve always found that people would scroll over clicking on another page link. I guess I’ll just shelve the idea for now and maybe come back to it another time.
