Gravity Forms PDF Extended is free software that anyone can download. However you need Gravity Forms which is paid software to run it. Please review the Gravity Form features to see how capturing information works.
Gravity Forms PDF Extended allows you to generate a PDF after a user fills in the Gravity Form fields and have it emailed to you or the user, or displayed in the browser. You can also download the PDF via the admin area.
I have limited knowledge of Gravity forms but have been practicing with creating and inserting forms for a friends site. I have exported the data and placed into an Excel table to sort and filter the information needed. I am searching for a way to use a Gravity form’s data and create a page, post, table or widget to display the data on the website for the front end user with sort and filter ability without editing the information.
Would this plugin allow me to select a specific Gravity form and use the form’s fields as merge tags to be inserted on the post

Sorry. This plugin is for generating PDF documents not displaying the content as you have described. I haven’t heard of a plugin for Gravity Forms that would do this; you might need to contact a developer to write this for you.
