Moving Localhost install to another computer

    Hello.

    I moved all my files from my local wordpress site installs on a laptop and put them on another computer (Desktop).

    I was able to connect to local Databases and the websites are showing up except that it shows up as a NEW installed theme and all my changes are gone. How can I get all my changes to show up on the site?

    Have you reviewed Moving_WordPress?

    Yes, I have reviewed it and reviewed it a few more times after your comment and I believe the information I am looking for should be solved by the following instructions… which I have done but still see no changes.

    Note: If you are changing to a new server but same domain, all you need to do is edit wp-config.php with your new database/user information and upload everything as it is to your new server.

    Any other suggestions?
